People I feel like I know
Although I doodle lots of different ideas, and silly things, I come back again and again to small portraits of guys with big mustaches and beards. They are all pretty different, and they feel like friends. Their life story comes to me with every line I draw. I could not make them up, and they aren’t part of a story idea or job, they just visit from time to time when I am not thinking about anything at all. I do not know where these guys keep coming from, but they make me smile, so I thought I might share them with you from time to time. Thanks for stopping by.
Billy, has lived all over the world, he speaks many languages. He has been a teacher, woodworker and a potter. He is wise and mischievous.
Breeze, is a great guy to have a beer with, a big guy with big beefy hands. He builds homes not buildings, but homes for good folks. Talks softly, always smiling.
